On the occasion of the 100th birthday of Bert Kaempfert a concert is to be held highlighting the music of this inspired composer and sound creator.

Prominent special guests as well as a hand-picked orchestra present his international hits and some hidden treasures from his songbook, sometimes in exciting and unusual new versions.

The popular entertainer and musician Götz Alsmann is to moderate this special evening and will be entertaining the audience with anecdotes from the extraordinary success story of Hamburg’s very own Bert Kaempfert.
